I still custom rom my devices to get rid of applications I don’t need. Plus root is useful for automatizing the updating of my apps from third party stores ; but Shizuku exists so that’s not the only way to do it.

But yeah, nowaydays you need usually to flash magisk to have root, or to use a kernel compiled with support for KSU.

I average 6-8mb/s average upload, while having a 200 cap on connected peers. If I let it unbrided, the upload gets to 30-35mb/s but DNS queries slow down a lot (my isp’s router is crap). But yeah, you’re doing god’s work. What trackers are you on? I’m only on nyaa, plus a couple private ones.

You… Dont need to root your device to install a custom rom? You can very well unlock your device, flash a custom rom, and use it unrooted. Nowadays quite a lot of custom rom come with a kernel prepatched for KSU, but that’s obviously not a requirement…

I used to use a 49" ultrawide too; and let me tell you, with a window manager they are so fucking nice (with a standard desktop like windows; kde or gnome, I hated having to move my mouse that much)

Nowadays you don’t even need to root your phone; certains custom roms do that by default

Downloading copyrighted material isnt a crime; redistribuiting it is. (Seeding, in the case of torrents)

Airvpn supports port forwarding. Well, other do too, but im only familiar with that one. I suggest you look into it; even just for privacy
