  • I fully understand the issues with the logistics. I get that the delivery people are often held to unreasonable standards and forced to insane expectations of quotas.

But, when there are 3 cars in the driveway, the lights are on in the house, and it’s the middle of the afternoon, it is absolutely the delivery person’s responsibility if they don’t even knock. They don’t even need to stick around more than 5 seconds, at least actually make the attempt.

  • I had switched over to Linux last year for the same concern of Win 10 reaching end of support. I wanted to switch over while I still had time to switch back (even if temporarily) of something went wrong.

I’d highly suggest start dual-booting or load Linux on an older system to get used to using it as a daily driver now rather than waiting until you don’t have the same choice.

  • If your dad draws anthro artwork frequently, and has been for a while, then he probably already knows what furries are. He might not be one, but I’d bet he has at least an understanding if he’s involved in any online art communities at all.

The furry fandom has definitely gone through a renaissance within the last decade, but it’s been around since the 90s and earlier.

That’s what I figured. If it was raining over the clear part of the river, I’d assume all the runoff from the land around it would make it muddy as well. The heavy storm is probably up river and washing all the muddy water down, until it gets blocked by the beaver dam.

  • Until it is mentioned (often afterwards), how would one know the person is neurodivergent? Is it fine to correct someone making those mistakes who are neurotypical?

I think how the correction is made is the differing factor, because you can never have complete information about the people you reply to on a platform like this.

On the other side, there is definitely a time and place to correct people for simple mistakes, especially if you still understand what they mean. Replying to someone asking for help in a matter is probably not one of those times. Replying to someone pointing out other mistakes or lack of knowledge, I think, is a fine place to make corrections (respectfully).

Especially if no one is called out by name and insults aren’t being used.
